Activities

The Department conduct various activities through out the year through Marathi Association.

Objectives of the Association

  1. To develop fondness and liking among students for reading, studying, and appreciating literature in Marathi
  2. To enable students to manifest their feeling and thoughts in Marathi.
  3. To enable students to transact and exchange in Marathi

Activities of the Association 2011-12

  1. Inauguration of Marathi Literary Association with the auspicious hands of Shri. Pradeep Ghodake & he delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Kavita Suchate Kashi’, and the function was attended by students and teachers on 29th Aug. 2011.
  2. Organzied a study tour of Sinhgad, Davu, Alandi, Pune, Saswad, Jajuri, Narayanpur on 7th Jan. to 8th Jan. 2012.
  3. Organized an activity of Poem Reading by the students  of Marathi on the occasion of ‘Marathi Day’ on 27th Feb. 2012.
  4. One day workshop on the subject of ‘Importance of Reading’ organized by Vyankatesh Mahavidyalaya, Ichalkaranji which were four students of Dept. of Marathi (special) participated in this occasion.
