Activities

The Department conduct various activities through out the year through Economic Association.

Objectives of the Association

1. To develop interest among the students in the context of the subject by organizing group discussion, seminar, quiz, easy competition etc.
2. To find out the potentialities and to give opportunities to express their qualities
3. To make them aware about the new event and changes in the field of Economics
4.  To help them in developing their intellectual abilities

Activities during the year- 2011-12

1. Observance of World Population Day and Wallpaper on the topic ‘Save Baby Daughter’ was published on the occasion on 11^th July 2011.
2. Essay competition on the topic ‘Traditional Festivals and Protection of Environment’ on 5^th Sept. 2011.
3. Publication of Wallpapers on the occasion of ‘Worlds Child Day’ on 24^th Sept. 2011.
4. Seminar on the subject ‘Biodiversity in India and Need for its Protection’ followed by publication of wallpaper on 8^th Oct. 2011.
5. Educational Trip at Vijaynagar, Humpi, Badami, Karnataka on 18^th & 19^th Dec. 2011.
6. Seminar on the topic E-Banking followed by a wallpaper on the subject on 17^th Dec. 2011.
7. Celebration of Nationaol Science Day by organizing a seminar and followed by publication of wallpaper on the topic ‘Contribution of Scientist to the Society’ on 28^th Feb. 2012.
